2 Injured When Fire Broke Out In Passenger Van On Kallar Kahar Motorway

CHAKWAL: Two passengers were injured in a passenger van going to Noorpur from Kallar Kahar when it caught fire. According to details, the Hiace van Numberi RI-6262, which was going to Noorpur from Kallar Kahar suddenly caught fire in a last turn of Darbar,

All passengers riding in van jumped out, results of which 2 passengers were injured..The passenger van was being driven by Aftab Shah who remained totally safe.

Traffic police personnel reached the spot and they stopped traffic from both sides. However, rescue 1122 and the fire brigade staff did not get timely information and the vehicle was quickly burned in the fire.

The van was burned due to short circuit according to the police report.

KOT RADHA KISHAN: At least two people were killed and one injured after a passenger bus hit them in Kot Radha Kishan on Friday, local media reported.

As per the details, the deceased and other people were standing along a road in the city when a bus ran over them after getting out of control due to over speed.

Following the accident, the driver successfully escaped from the scene, while charged protesters set the vehicle on fire.

The injured and dead bodies have been shifted to nearby hospital for medical procedure.

Rescue Team Saves Life Of A Buffalo Drowned Into The Well

36 Killed In China Bus Crash

SHANGHAI: - At least 36 people had been killed and 13 others injured after a passenger bus rammed into the wall of an through-way tunnel in China’s northwest, international media pronounced on Friday.

As per reports, the bus was on its way to Luoyang, a city in central China, from Chengdu, capital of the southwestern province of Sichuan, when it hit a tunnel’s wall on Xi’an-Hanzhong expressway.

Passenger Van Plunges Into River Killing Woman While Six Missing

CHITRAL : One woman has reportedly died while six people were still missing when a passengers van fell into River Chitral here on Monday.

According to local rescue officials, the ill-fated van was its way from Arkari Lo Tikoh to Chitral and suddenly fell into river Chitral. Seven out of total 14 passengers have been rescued while six are stated to be missing.

A body of a woman among seven missing persons has been retrieved till filing of this news. The injured were shifted to DHQ hospital Chitral for treatment.

The van has been pulled out from the river by Chitral Scouts with the help of a Crane. All the victims are stated to be hailing from Arkari area.

The identities of the victims could not be ascertained as yet.
