Six Members Of Family Brunt Alive In Van


PAKISTAN: Six people of a family burnt to death when their van caught fire in Garden area, Karachi early Sunday morning, police stated.

The awful incident happened in front of Jilani Masjid near Karachi Zoological Gardens in which a van caught fire all of a surprising. As a result, three men, a girl and two youngsters died on the spot even as numerous others had been injured.


The injured have been shifted to Civil Hospital. According to witnesses, the hearth broke out first inside the the front head of the car, rapidly spreading to the rear. Resultantly, those caught in the automobile could not save themselves.

Police officials stated the deceased and the injured belonged to the same family, who had set out for a picnic early morning. Law enforcers cordoned off the site where incident happened. They are investigating the problem from diverse angles.

Meanwhile, rescue resources stated that members of 2  families have been traveling to Hawke’s Bay within the burnt car. According to them, the car stuck fire because of a cylinder explosion.

The deceased consist of three guys, two ladies and one child. Two volunteer and two van passengers consisting of 17-year-antique Maryam and 8-yr-vintage Shehroze were severely injured.

The driver suspiciously fled the scene and is nowhere to be located, according to police officials.

Officials on the scene explained that four of the van’s passengers had been pulled out in time, however suffered excessive injuries and have been shifted to Jinnah Hospital.
