TALAGANG: At least five people were killed and five others sustained injuries in a car crash in Mandra-Chakwal road in Rawalpindi district on Sunday.

TALAGANG:: Loss of life toll in road mishap in Pathankot area near Talagang gone up to 27, as two more hurt individuals succumbed with their wounds during treatment at a medical center.

The accident occurred when a traveler bus venturing from Kohat to Raiwind plunged into a ravine while going for a sharp turn at Talagang-Rawalpindi road in the Pathankot area, killing 24 people and wounding another above 50.

Rescue 1122 team reached the location and shifted the dead and wounded to Tehsil Head Quarter Hospital Talagang.. However, 16 of the critically wounded individuals were shifted to Rawalpindi.

 The bus driver and conductor were among the list of dead. Rescue operation team said that around 77 people were aboard the ill-fated bus. The bus was completely demolished in the incident.

NEW DELHI: At least 23 passengers were killed and 64 others were injured after an express train derailed in north India on Saturday, as rescuers war to unfastened people trapped in the wreckage, according to media reports.

“Twenty-3 humans have died and 64 others are injured in the coincidence. Rescue and remedy operations are persevering with,” GS Priyadarshi, a top civil official on the occasion told AFP.

Police said the casualties had been being rushed to the health center.

“There are virtually casualties but right now the point of interest is on evacuation,” senior police officer Jitender Kumar informed AFP via cellphone from the coincidence site.

“We are shifting each person to the medical health center. We are trying to take out those trapped inside the coaches.”

Photographs from the scene in the north Indian state of Uttar Pradesh confirmed humans hiking onto upended carriages to strive to drag passengers out.

The coincidence is the latest catastrophe to hit India´s maximum populous state. It comes just a week after dozens of youngsters died in a hospital that had run out of oxygen.

DAULTALA:  A 20-year-old young man was killed while being crushed under the tire of bus in which he was traveling from Daultala to Gujar Khan.

CHAKWAL: A car coming up with high speed just crushed a truck driver while he was replacing punctured tire with other one..
