CHAKWAL: Member of National Assembly Hamza Shahbaz Sharif said that general elections should be held with in time and if delayed then it would be no good for democracy as well as political parties.
Hamza said that the continuity in the policies was imperative and pause in the democratic process would not be in the national interest of the country.
Hamza Shahbaz said that unfortunately Pakistan is standing at dual way and on one hand facing the challenge of terrorism while on the other side those who are enemies of development and progress with the help of China. He was talking to media at the residence of deceased Ch. Liaqat Ali Khan MPA from PP 20 Chakwal,
Answering a question, Hamza Shahbaz said that Mian Nawaz Sharif has presented himself before the Trial Court and now justice should dispensed at all costs. He said that Pakistan Muslim League (N) is fully united under the leadership of Mian Nawaz Sharif and he will be successful through courts.
He said that during Martial Law he solely fronted courts and faced accountability of the regime.
Hamza Shahbaz met the family of Ch. Liaqat Ali Khan PML (N) MPA from PP 20 who died some days ago In Chakwal.
He offered Fateha and prayed that may Allah Almighty rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage and strength to the members of the bereaved family to bear this loss with fortitude.
Hamza admired the political services of Ch. Liaqat Ali Khan rendered for the area. Her wife MNA Mrs. Iffat Liaqat and sons Ch. Haider Sultan and Shehryar Sultan were present at the occasion who thanked Hamza Shahbaz for visiting Chakwal.
