CHAKWAL (Pakistan): Dead body of a missing woman found in a deserted well near Neelah village, police told on Tuesday.
Police have arrested one of the accused in this case who confessed killing the woman after abducting her.
When the woman went missing, her family reported the matter to Saddar police and named a couple in the FIR. Some residents of Neelah village spotted a body lying in a deserted well on July 03,2018 . Police and Rescue 1122 teams took out the body stuffed in a gunny bag, later identified as that of the woman.
Investigation Officer Ghulam Abbas told media that the mentioned woman was married to the brother of the accused woman. “Few months ago the husband of the woman allegedly committed suicide by taking poisonous pills. His sister was of the opinion that her brother was given poison by her wife, that’s why she abducted the woman with the help of her paramour and later killed her,” the officer added.
