CHAKWAL: National Forum for Environment & Health (NFEH), in collaboration with Fire Protection Association of Pakistan (FPAP), would honour 30 companies for their safety and security measures for fire protection awareness, training of employees, use of modern technology, and regular exercises & drills.
Project head Nadeem Ashraf said the objective of the award was to promote and recognise safety and security arrangements and awareness in all leading companies.
NFEH announced the names of award winning companies through evaluation of professional criteria, scrutiny and visits to companies.
The list of awardees includes: Atlas Honda Ltd, ATCO Laboratories, Bestway Cement Ltd (Kallar Kahar), Clariant Chemical Pakistan, EFU Insurance Company Ltd, Feroze Mills Ltd, Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim Ltd, GlaxoSmithKline, OTC Pvt Ltd, General Electric Pakistan, Habib Bank Ltd, Haseen Habib Trading (Pvt) Ltd, K-Electric, Karachi Marriott Hotel, Lucky Knit, Linde Pakistan, Mustaqim Dyeing and Printing, Novamed Pharmaceuticals (Pvt) Ltd, Oil and Gas Development Company Ltd, Pak Arab Refinery Ltd, Pakistan Oilfields Ltd, Patel Hospital, PharmEvo Pvt Ltd, Rajby Textiles, Shifa International Hospitals, Soorty Enterprises (Pvt) Ltd, Syngenta Pakistan Ltd, Thal Engineering, Total Parco Pakistan Limited, and Yunus Textile Mills Ltd.
