PAKISTAN: : A pregnant lady and her unborn infant died at a clinic in District Rajanpur (Dera Ghazi Khan) because the doctor allegedly remained busy attending a Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf meeting, bereaved family members told media.
Allah Noor, a resident of Tehsil Fazil Pur told Geo News that he took his wife to the clinic Thursday evening, where the medics kept her waiting. He stated the hospital body of workers assured them the lady and the unborn toddler were fine, at the same time as the health practitioner, Shaheena Najib, allegedly attended a PTI assembly.The bereaved family contributors stated they paid Rs40,000 for the medical treatment on the time of admitting the woman, but, the doctor’s negligence killed the woman and her unborn infant.
Hospital's administration and Dr Shaheena Najib have refused to touch upon the problem. But the own family participants have demanded the Punjab government to take stern action towards the medical doctor.
