Power Load Shedding Duration Being Increased In Chakwal

CHAKWAL: The duration of power load shedding has been increased in rural and urban areas of the district.According to details, the power load shedding is being observed up to 15 hours in urban areas while 16 to 18 hours in rural areas and increment in ''Off State'' is on the way.
The spokesman of WAPDA Chakwal Circle told to the media that owing to shortfall of electricity, the duration of load shedding has been increased.

“Forced load shedding is to be made from the Rawat Grid Station and IESCO Circle have not any information in this regard.”, he added and maintained that duration of load shedding would be reduced in coming days as the capacity of water be increased in water reservoirs after melting the snow from mountains.
He further stated that the duration of power load shedding was increased due to its extra consumption as the weather is changing and the rain were not fallen in the winter season.
“More electricity would be added in the national gird, this way duration of load shedding would be reduced in near future”, the Spokesman said.
