CHAKWAL: Chakwal police registered a new FIR against 37 persons and 13 unidentified villagers of Dulmial Ahmadi killing a person on 12 December 2016.
Naeem Shafique, a resident of the nearby village of Tatral, was killed in an attack on a place of worship in Dulmial Ahmadi.According to the FIR on 12 December and a report of a joint working group (JIT) on the incident was registered.
The first FIR was registered between 2,800 and 3,000 Muslims, but finaly four residents of Ahmadi were found"guilty". These are along with 57 Muslims staying in jail and are judged by an anti-terrorism court.However, brother of Shafique wanted to register an independent FIR for the murder of his brother. He handed a police application to Choa Saidan Shah police, who did not accept his request because FIR was already registered in the case.
A police officer said, "An FIR is the basic right of every citizen, so the court ordered the registration of the FIR". It has no further arrests.The applicant, Saad Raza, said in the FIR that a municipality of Eid Miladun Nabi by the village in peace on December 12, when he was attacked by Ahmadis, who opened the fire on his congregation and killed brother.
